How Does An EPS Hot Melting Machine Work?
- Firstly, the foam enters the inlet. These foams can be discarded foam products or virgin foam materials, such as foam boards or foam blocks.
- Once the foam enters the hopper, the machine starts working. EPS hot melting machines are equipped with a specialized crushing system that efficiently crushes large blocks of foam into smaller pieces. This step is designed to make the foam material easier to handle and melt.
- Small pieces of crushed foam enter the hot melt area.
- Once the foam material is melted, it is fed into the extrusion area of the EPS hot melting recycling machine. In the extrusion area, the foam is extruded through the screw.
