Tire recycling machine is widely used in the waste tire recycling industry to convert scrap tires into valuable rubber powder. Through a complete tire recycling process, waste tires can be processed into rubber granules or fine rubber powder, which can be reused in rubber tiles, sports tracks, road construction, and other industrial applications.
In this article, we will explain how to make rubber powder from waste tires and introduce both semi-automatic and fully automatic tire recycling machine solutions.
What is Rubber Powder?
Rubber powder is a recycled material made from waste tires after crushing, shredding, grinding, and separation. The final size is usually:
- Rubber granules: 1–5 mm
- Rubber powder: 10–40 mesh
It is widely used in:
- Rubber tiles / flooring
- Playground and running tracks
- Asphalt modification
- Molded rubber products

Semi-Automatic Tire Recycling Machine Process
A semi-automatic rubber powder production line is suitable for small and medium investment with flexible operation.
Working Process:
1.Bead Cutting Machine (Tire Ring Cutter)
- Removes both sidewalls of the tire
- Sidewalls contain thick steel wire, which must be removed first
2. Strip Cutting Machine: Cuts tire body into long rubber strips
3.Block Cutting Machine: Further cuts strips into small rubber blocks
4. Rubber Grinder / Powder Mill: Crushes rubber blocks into powder or granules
Equipped with:
- Magnetic separator (removes steel wire)
- Vibrating screen (controls particle size)
- Separates nylon fiber from rubber powder
- Improves purity of final product
Final Product: High purity rubber powder (10–40 mesh)
