Waste motor dismantling machine is designed to efficiently separate copper windings from the silicon steel cores of waste electric motors. By combining stator cutting and hydraulic copper extraction, the machine helps recycling businesses recover valuable copper and steel with less manual labor.
For waste motor recycling companies, removing copper windings manually can be time-consuming and labor-intensive. Our machine provides a faster solution for processing large quantities of discarded motors.
What Is a Waste Motor Dismantling Machine?
An electric motor dismantling machine is specialized equipment for dismantling waste motor stators and recovering copper windings.
Unlike manual dismantling, which requires workers to cut and pull the copper wires individually, this machine cuts the stator and then extracts the copper winding bundle as a whole.
The recovered materials can be separated into copper winding bundles and silicon steel stator cores, making them convenient for further recycling and processing.
How Does the Motor Copper Extraction Machine Work?
The machine first cuts the motor stator into two sections. The stator is securely positioned on the support, and the cutting blade moves downward to make the cut through the middle.
After cutting, each stator section is transferred to the copper extraction position. Multiple hydraulic grippers extend into the stator and firmly grip the ends of the copper winding bundles.
The hydraulic cylinders then provide strong pulling force to remove the complete copper winding from the slots of the silicon steel core.
This process allows the copper winding and stator core to be separated efficiently without manually removing each wire.
Copper Winding and Stator Core Separation
One of the main benefits of our waste motor dismantling machine is its ability to produce two valuable recyclable materials.
Copper winding:
The complete copper winding bundle can be collected for copper recycling and further processing.
Silicon steel core:
After the copper winding is removed, the empty stator core can be separately collected and recycled as steel material.
This straightforward separation helps recycling businesses make better use of the different materials contained in waste motors.
What Motors Can the Electric Motor Recycling Machine Process?
Our motor copper extraction machine can be used for dismantling various types of waste electric motors within the applicable size range.
It is suitable for motors commonly found in discarded electrical and transportation equipment, such as:
- Washing machine motors
- Electric fan motors
- Electric three-wheeler motors
- Small industrial motors
- Other waste electric motors
