Working Principle Of Plastic Bottle Washing Plant
- Collection of PET bottles: Collect discarded PET bottles from different sources, including recycling centers, supermarkets, restaurants, and households.
- Sorting: PET-free impurities such as stray bottles, miscellaneous colored bottles, label paper, and caps are separated from the raw material. Some impurities, such as trademark paper and bottle caps, can be removed in subsequent processes, but some impurities, such as PVC, PS, and rubber, will not be effectively separated in subsequent processes if they are not treated cleanly in the sorting process.
- De-labeling: Before further crushing, attachments such as labels and tapes need to be removed from PET bottles, usually using a De-labeling machine.
- Crushing: Sorted PET bottles are usually fed into a PET plastic crusher that cuts them into pieces to reduce their size.
- Separation of caps and flakes: A Plastic bottle cap sorting machine separates PET flakes from caps, ensuring that only clean PET flakes move on to the next stage.
- Hot washing: An important step in the PET bottle recycling washing line is the use of hot water to wash PET bottle flakes to remove surface dirt, grease, and contaminants.
- Friction washing: This step utilizes the rubbing plates inside the friction washer machine to rub the PET bottle flakes under water to ensure maximum cleaning of their surfaces.
